Ventura/Kings Canyon Corridor Cleanup Event

Beautify Fresno – in partnership with District 5 Councilmember Luis Chavez, and Clean Fresno – is hosting a cleanup event on Saturday, March 13, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. along Ventura Ave/Kings Canyon Rd., in southeast Fresno.

This event will focus on cleaning the north and south sides of Ventura Avenue between First Street and Cedar Avenue, and Kings Canyon Rd from Cedar Avenue to Chestnut Ave. and the adjacent streets and alleys. Volunteers will meet at the parking lot of the former University Medical Center on the northeast corner of Cedar and Kings Canyon beginning at 9:30 a.m. to sign in and for orientation.

Beautify Fresno will provide safety vests, paper pickers, gloves, and trash bags, along with pre-packaged snacks and bottled water.

In an effort to keep you safe during this pandemic, Beautify Fresno will follow guidance from our national advisors at Keep America Beautiful, as well as all health and safety protocols from the CDC and the Fresno County Department of Public Health.
