FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — Beautify Fresno is hosting a special Day of Service on Wednesday at Peach and Olive Avenues in Fresno and FOX26 and CW59 have volunteered to help out.
The Sinclair Broadcasting Group has a long history of giving back to our local communities, through natural disaster relief initiatives, food and toy drives, assistance programs, our Diversity Scholarship program, and numerous other charitable endeavors.
Our unwavering commitment to the people and communities we proudly serve is a large part of Sinclair’s success, and there is no better demonstration of our values than the actions of our employees.
Employees with FOX26 and CW59 will work alongside Beautify Fresno to help make Fresno a cleaner, greener, and more beautiful place to live.
Other Sinclair stations around the country are holding similar Day of Service events in their communities on Wednesday.
The cleanup event in Fresno takes place from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in a neighborhood near our studios on McKinley Ave.
FOX26 reporter Alexis Govea will be broadcasting live from the event to provide updates on their progress.
